About the role#
The Wealth Management Summer Internship provides college students with hands-on experience in financial services. You will work alongside professionals across multiple business lines to gain exposure to real-world projects, operations, and strategic decision-making. This is a paid, full-time program designed to offer professional mentorship and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support customer compliance, due diligence, and Middle Office operations.
- Provide general support to trust administration and operations.
- Participate in a comprehensive learning program including professional development activities.
- Support and present on projects, research, or operational tasks to senior leaders.
- Build connections through mentorship and collaboration with peers and professionals.
- Engage with organizational leaders through networking events and career conversations.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed a minimum of one full year of college by May 2027.
- Preference for majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting the first week of June and ending in mid-August.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site, up to 5 days per week at a physical office location.
- Requirements: Must have reliable transportation, be available for in-person and virtual interviews, and attend an in-person orientation.
