About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship within the Trust & Wealth Finance department at WSFS Bank. You will work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, starting the first week of June and ending in mid-August 2027. This program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to strategic decision-making within a financial institution.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounting functions, such as account reconciliations and the preparation and review of general ledger entries.
- Support financial performance reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret financial metrics and trends.
- Contribute to special projects and handle ad hoc requests to support the finance team.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- A major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundamental computer skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work on-site up to 5 days per week.
- Availability for both in-person and virtual interviews, as well as an in-person orientation with Human Resources.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
