About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for the Summer of 2027. You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, from early June through mid-August. You will work alongside industry professionals on real business initiatives across various bank departments. High-performing interns may be considered for future employment opportunities upon successful completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Explore how consumer banking products are designed, managed, marketed, and optimized.
- Gain exposure to product strategy, digital experiences, market research, promotional campaigns, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Contribute to real business projects and operational activities.
- Present your work and research findings to Senior Leaders.
- Participate in personal and professional development activities.
- Engage with organizational leaders through networking events, panel discussions, and career-focused conversations.
- Take part in volunteer initiatives and employee resource groups.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- A major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Marketing is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Wilmington, Delaware.
- The position is on-site, requiring up to 5 days per week at a physical office location.
- Candidates must be available for both in-person and virtual interviews, as well as an in-person orientation with Human Resources.
