About the role#
The Home Lending Internship at WSFS Bank offers a hands-on introduction to the financial services industry. Over 10 weeks, you will work with our team to understand the end-to-end home lending process. You will gain insight into mortgage and home equity products, loan processing, underwriting, and operations. This role focuses on how our teams balance risk management, compliance, and customer service to help clients achieve homeownership.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside professionals on projects, operations, and strategic decision-making.
- Participate in a comprehensive learning program designed for professional development.
- Support and present on projects, research, or operational activities to Senior Leaders.
- Build connections through mentorship and collaboration with experienced staff.
- Engage with leaders through networking events, panel discussions, and career-focused conversations.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- Preference for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- Location: Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through August).
- Modality: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
- Requirements: Must be available for in-person orientation and interviews. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
