About the role#
The Global Capital Markets Intern position at WSFS Bank offers exposure to the leveraged loan and capital markets. This full-time, paid summer program provides hands-on experience by working alongside professionals on real business initiatives. You will support various departments and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a financial institution.
What you'll do#
- Support projects across operations, relationship management, trade services, agency administration, and middle office functions.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including marketing, compliance, and tax teams.
- Gain insight into client relationship management and interactions with external centers of influence.
- Conduct research and contribute to operational activities.
- Present project findings to senior leaders.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed a minimum of one full year of college by May 2027.
- A major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred.
- Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware.
- Work Modality: On-site, up to 5 days per week at a physical office location.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2027.
- Requirements: Must have reliable transportation and be available for in-person orientation and interviews.
