About the role#
Wright-Pierce is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program. This is a paid, full-time opportunity within the civil division. You will work on-site in either Portsmouth, New Hampshire, or Westfield, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments for the civil engineering division.
- Handle both in-office tasks and field work.
- Prepare technical reports and studies.
- Perform engineering research and provide technical assistance.
- Run calculations.
- Work closely with licensed engineers while completing tasks independently.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student.
- Pursuit of a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Personal organization and time management habits.
- Ability to build relationships with coworkers.
- A commitment to continual learning and attention to detail.

- Locations: Portsmouth, NH and Westfield, MA.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour, based on education and experience.
