About the role#
We are hiring Seasonal Overnight Student Supervisors, also known as Night Chaperones, to support our student programs in the Dulles, Virginia area. This is a paid, on-site role for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. You will ensure the safety of students during their stay by monitoring hotel floors throughout the night.
What you'll do#
- Actively monitor assigned hotel floors from 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Respond to emergency situations and report any suspicious activity.
- Monitor for student misconduct.
- Follow check-in and check-out procedures for your assigned floors.
- Maintain a professional relationship with students at all times.
- Present a helpful and positive image to students, educators, and staff.
What you'll need#
- Availability during October, November, and the spring months of February through June.
- Ability to commute to on-site locations in the Dulles, VA area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft programs, email, and smartphone use.
- Ability to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs.
- Sensory skills to see, read, talk, and hear clearly.
- Successful completion of a background screening.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
