About the role#
We are hiring seasonal overnight chaperones to support educational travel programs. You will work on-site in the College Park, Maryland area during the fall and winter seasons. This is a paid, full-time position requiring overnight availability.
What you'll do#
- Monitor assigned hotel floors from 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Watch for student misconduct and respond to emergency situations.
- Maintain safety for all program participants throughout their tour.
- Follow established procedures for hotel check-in, check-out, and escalation protocols.
- Interact with customers, vendors, and staff with honesty and professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Availability during October and November, as well as February through June.
- Ability to commute to on-site locations in College Park, MD.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and smartphone usage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as walking up and down stairs.
- Necessary sensory skills to see, read, talk, and hear.
- Successful completion of a background screening.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as we do not provide sponsorship for this role.

- Schedule: Overnight shifts, 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Terms: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Pay: $18 per hour.
