    About the role#

    We are hiring Seasonal Overnight Student Chaperones to monitor student groups in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. You will work night shifts from 9:45 PM to 5:00 AM to help ensure a safe and positive experience for students and educators. This role is paid and requires on-site work during the fall and spring seasons.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor assigned hotel floors for student misconduct and emergency situations.
    • Maintain a professional relationship with students and staff.
    • Follow check-in and check-out procedures with hotel personnel.
    • Present a professional, courteous, and positive image at all times.
    • Report any suspicious activity while on duty.

    What you'll need#

    • Availability during October and November, as well as February through June.
    • Ability to commute to locations within the D.C. Metro Area.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and smartphone usage.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking up and down stairs.
    • Must possess the necessary sensory skills to see, read, talk, and hear.
    • Successful completion of a background screening.
    • Preference for students in Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or Criminal Justice.
