About the role#
Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our civil engineering team. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Design and create site layout plans that meet client requirements and company standards.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Collaborate with the project management team to identify project impediments and implement solutions.
- Perform pavement assessments, including data compilation and report writing.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Participate in occasional field work, which may include frequent local travel and overnight travel.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering.
- Zero to two years of related experience.
- Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- A working knowledge of hydrology and stormwater management.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize your workflow, and complete assigned tasks.
- Experience in hydraulics and hydrology is preferred.
