About the role#
This is a full-time Healthcare Audit Internship for Winter 2028 based in Spokane, Washington. You will work alongside professionals to gain hands-on experience in audit and accounting, developing the skills needed to serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is paid and requires you to be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures according to professional standards.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
- Assist the team with Medicare and Medicaid or Medical Cost Report reimbursement.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates in a professional and timely manner.
- Use data analysis skills to identify useful information and support recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Location: Spokane, Washington.
- Work modality: On-site and hybrid. This role requires in-person attendance at the office or client sites for scheduled meetings.
