About the role#
We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to work at our Montpelier, Ohio facility. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work with our staff engineering, production, and maintenance teams to build your skills in design, product knowledge, and technical problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and contractors to finish projects.
- Gather data and analyze it to draw engineering conclusions.
- Research new technologies and cost reduction ideas for capital expenditure requests.
- Create technical documentation, including equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance job plans.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Mechanical Engineering student, at the sophomore level or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD is preferred.

- Location: Montpelier, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
- Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
