About the role#
We are hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team in Montpelier. You will build your skills in design, product knowledge, and technical support while working alongside our engineering, production, and maintenance staff. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and contractors to finish projects.
- Gather data and perform analysis to reach engineering conclusions.
- Research new technologies, standardization, and cost-saving ideas for capital expenditure requests.
- Write technical documentation for equipment manuals, maintenance job plans, and troubleshooting guides.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be an Electrical Engineering student, at least at the sophomore level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- You must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Montpelier, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
- Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
