About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will join our team to work on technical products and systems. You will report to the LEU+ Process Engineering Manager at our Hopkins, South Carolina facility.
What you'll do#
- Create hardware design documentation, including equipment drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams.
- Assist with the hands-on design of manufacturing equipment.
- Develop container hardware design specifications.
- Prepare documentation for procurement and manufacturing.
- Help resolve technical issues, including those related to first-of-a-kind implementation.
- Create test procedures and conduct functional testing.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- You have completed your sophomore year of college.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Hopkins, South Carolina.
- The term runs from May through August 2027.
- The pay range for this role is $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
