About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in New Stanton, Pennsylvania. You will report to the Quality Manager and assist with various safety programs and projects throughout the facility.
What you'll do#
- Perform behavior-based safety observations.
- Conduct environmental inspections and evaluations.
- Develop and update safety procedures.
- Participate in monthly management department inspections.
- Create job hazard analyses.
- Perform paint booth calibration and manage VOC data collection and entry.
- Handle employee communications regarding safety initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an Occupational Safety or Environmental field.
- You have completed your sophomore year of college.
