About the role#
West Seattle Junction FC and Rhodies FC are looking for an intern to join the team for the 2027 season. You will gain hands-on experience in professional sports ticket sales, operations, and customer service. This role reports to the Director of Operations and supports both the men's and women's teams at Nino Cantu Stadium.
What you'll do#
- Sell season tickets, partial plans, group packages, and premium seating.
- Reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and text.
- Identify new sales leads and target local businesses, organizations, and youth sports teams.
- Manage ticket fulfillment and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Resolve fan questions about pricing and stadium policies.
- Run front gate operations and box office sales during home matches.
- Assist with matchday logistics, including setup and post-event cleanup.
- Represent the club at community events and engage with fans during games.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in Google workplace tools, with preference for prior CRM or ticketing software experience.
- A self-starting attitude and the drive to meet sales objectives.
- Full availability for home matches, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift between 30 and 50 pounds.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
