About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within our claims department. You will work on-site in West Bend, Wisconsin, during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Review and analyze insurance policies to verify coverage.
- Establish reserves and settle claims for less complex losses.
- Contact customers to explain coverage details.
- Support high customer service results throughout the claims process.
- Assist various claims teams with work following catastrophe storms.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or an insurance-related field.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn and use various computer programs.
