About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will spend 11 weeks gaining hands-on experience within our Team Capacity Development department. The program includes dedicated job training, mentorship, and opportunities to participate in community events and networking sessions.
What you'll do#
- Welcome and onboard professional drivers to the company.
- Introduce drivers to the Team Development process.
- Manage a portfolio of drivers and support them in finding compatible team partners.
- Facilitate discussions regarding home time preferences, compensation, and life on the road.
- Build relationships with drivers through direct interaction to support long-term retention.
- Help drivers navigate teaming decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A respectful approach to engaging with others.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive conversations.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
Location & details#
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Modality: This position is on-site at our corporate headquarters, with some remote and off-site opportunities available.
- Sponsorship: We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
