About the role#
This is an 11-week paid summer internship based at our corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. You will gain real-world experience through an immersion program that includes job training and learning opportunities. Interns work on a group project alongside other team members during the summer term.
What you'll do#
- Manage customer accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
- Coordinate the transportation of goods, including scheduling loads, arranging pickups and deliveries, and tracking shipments.
- Communicate with customers to provide load status updates and resolve concerns.
- Work with internal teams to ensure transportation services run smoothly.
- Identify ways to improve logistics processes and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Logistics, Transportation, Management, or Marketing.
- Strong communication, organizational, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work Modality: On-site, with some remote and off-site opportunities available.
- Employment: Full-time internship for Summer 2027.
