About the role#
Waterton is looking for a Summer 2027 intern to join our Acquisitions team. This role supports our multifamily acquisitions department through financial modeling, market research, and the creation of Investment Committee presentations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to build and adapt financial models for investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and inform investment strategies.
- Make recommendations for strategy based on your analysis.
- Prepare presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Maintain a focus on the external market to support ongoing research efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, real estate, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport and manage relationships.
- High level of attention to detail and a resourceful approach to problem solving.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
