About the role#
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Intern to support our website optimization, SEO, AI visibility, and social media initiatives. This role focuses on how Outbound Hotels appears across search engines, AI assistants, and recommendation platforms. You will work on content strategy, website merchandising, and social media management to help drive organic traffic and brand visibility.
What you'll do#
- Review SEO, site health, and AI visibility reports from agency partners.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve website content, metadata, and page structure.
- Collaborate with our digital agency to optimize page titles, headers, and internal linking.
- Perform quality assurance checks on web content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
- Manage social media channels for Outbound Stowe, including content scheduling and drafting captions.
- Source user-generated content and research social media trends to inform strategy.
- Track content performance and assist with reporting on organic traffic and website metrics.
- Support website audits and maintain project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Interest in SEO, content marketing, digital analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keywords and site structure.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, reports, and digital tools.
- Strong written communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience managing brand or personal social media accounts.
- Basic understanding of HTML and website publishing workflows.
- Previous experience in hospitality, travel, or consumer brands is a plus.

- Compensation: $17.50 to $20.00 per hour.
