Intern, Service Hardware

About the role#

The Service Hardware Intern will assist service technicians with the maintenance and organization of hardware components. This role involves hands-on work with electronics, inventory management, and equipment care within the Service Hardware Group.

What you'll do#

• Maintain order and cleanliness in Service Hardware Group stock areas.
• Assist with cleaning electronic parts and performing basic component testing.
• Pull and shelve inventory components.
• Provide care and maintenance for company property, including office, computer, and telephone equipment.
• Perform cycle counts on inventory items.
• Perform physical tasks including moderate lifting, working on ladders, and operating in lift platforms at heights.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an educational institution with a major in Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong, demonstrable computer and networking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• A desire to solve problems and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work with numbers for inventory management.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to frequently lift or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
