This internship provides hands-on experience assisting Electrical Engineers with hardware design, prototyping, board-level repair, and embedded software development. Interns will gain exposure to manufacturing protocols and vendor research while contributing to real-world engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Learn and operate specialized test equipment.
- Conduct testing on LED modules, controllers, and complete LED sign systems.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other hardware testing tools.
- Research new or alternate components for hardware designs.
- Develop embedded software and assist in building prototypes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Technology, EET, MET, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the semester.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Danville, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
