Intern Infrastructure

About the role#

The Infrastructure Intern will support the IT team at Watchfire, assisting with network maintenance, hardware configuration, and infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Danville, Illinois.

What you'll do#

• Assist with network support, maintenance, and development projects.
• Provide phone and deskside support for network equipment.
• Configure and set up new PCs and laptops, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Contribute to office expansion and consolidation projects.
• Evaluate existing training documentation and develop new materials as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or recent graduation in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technology fields.
• Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the semester.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer session.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
