Intern Infrastructure

About the role#

The Infrastructure Intern will support the IT team at Watchfire through hands-on technical tasks and project-based work. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Houston, Texas.

What you'll do#

• Provide deskside and phone support for network equipment.
• Assist with the configuration and setup of new PCs and laptops, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Support network maintenance, development, and general support projects.
• Contribute to office expansion and consolidation initiatives.
• Evaluate existing training materials and develop new documentation as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or recent graduation from a degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Science, Systems & Network Administration, or Software Engineering.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the semester.
• Availability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer session.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
