As a Structural Intern, you will join the structural engineering group to expand your technical education through hands-on experience. You will work alongside professional teams on a variety of architectural projects, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. Interns are encouraged to participate in the in-house staff development program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on diverse architectural building designs.
- Engage with group members to solve complex structural engineering challenges.
- Participate in the company's in-house staff development program.
What you'll need#
- A BS in Civil Engineering or completion of at least 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
- A sound technical background in engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the challenges of designing structures.
- EIT certification is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling term, minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $25.30 - $35.20 per hour.
