About the role#
Walter P Moore seeks students to expand their structural engineering education through our internship program. You will work on project teams for architectural projects, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. You are also eligible to participate in our in-house staff development program.
What you'll do#
- Participate on project teams for various architectural building types.
- Contribute to the in-house staff development program.
- Collaborate with group members to solve structural engineering challenges.
What you'll need#
- A sound technical background in engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing structures.
- A BS in Civil Engineering or at least 24 hours of engineering coursework toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
- Enrollment in or plans to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- EIT certification is preferred.

- Term: Rolling.
- Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $25.30 to $35.20 per hour.
