Structural Intern

About the role#

As a Structural Intern, you will join project teams focused on diverse architectural developments, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. This program is designed to expand your practical education in structural engineering, and you will be eligible to participate in the internal staff development program.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with project teams on various architectural building types.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world structural engineering challenges.
• Engage with internal staff development resources to grow professional skills.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a BS in Civil Engineering program with at least 24 hours of completed engineering coursework, or a completed BS in Civil Engineering.
• Acceptance into or plans to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• A sound technical background paired with enthusiasm for structural design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Consistent availability of at least 20 hours per week.
