About the role#
This internship provides students with the opportunity to expand their structural engineering education within the Secure Design practice. You will join project teams focused on various architectural developments, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings. Interns are eligible to participate in the in-house staff development program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on diverse architectural structures.
- Participate in the in-house staff development program.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of at least 20 hours per week.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or completion of at least 24 credit hours of engineering coursework toward this degree.
- Enrollment in or plans to apply for a graduate program in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Strong technical background and enthusiasm for structural design challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- EIT certification is preferred.
