About the role#
Wade Trim is hiring a Landscape Architect Summer Intern to join the Community Design team in Detroit. This position supports infrastructure improvement projects and provides exposure to professional landscape architecture work.
What you'll do#
- Assist members of the Landscape Architecture group with daily tasks.
- Draft site plans and technical details.
- Create artistic renderings, diagrams, and other project documents.
- Attend project meetings to gain insight into the design process.
- Maintain project records and files.
- Support the team in maintaining excellent client relations.
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field. Sophomore or junior status is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
- A self-motivated and organized approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
