About the role#
Wade Trim is hiring an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern for the Industrial Commercial Energy team in Taylor, Michigan. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site and gain experience in civil engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design reports and construction plans.
- Help prepare specifications and permit submittals.
- Create preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.
- Track design changes and project communications.
- Perform on-site inspections as needed.
- Maintain safe working conditions and strong relationships with clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering, with preference for junior or senior status.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach to your work.
