About the role#
As a Site Purchasing Intern, you will support Quality, Sustainability, Cost, and Capacity objectives with our supply partners. You will assist in executing commodity strategies for the Shippensburg site and work within a global network to improve supply chain performance. This role involves data analysis, supplier communication, and project support within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform Supplier Delivery Precision analysis and support critical supplier issues.
- Research supplier invoice discrepancies against established pricing and document necessary actions.
- Send RFQs to approved suppliers and place production or prototype orders.
- Support direct material costing and supplier relationship management.
- Contribute to strategic projects and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.

- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate range of $17.00 to $46.00 based on factors including degree level and location.
