About the role#
Vital Lyfe is hiring a Mechanical Engineering intern to join our team in Torrance, California. You will work on desalination and water treatment technology while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the design and optimization of high-pressure systems.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and refining lightweight, energy-efficient mechanical components.
- Analyze materials and system designs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Perform hands-on work with development hardware, which requires standing, crouching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Coursework or experience in fields such as fluid dynamics, circuit design, thermodynamics, or material science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A desire to solve real-world engineering problems.

- Compensation: $30 to $33 per hour.
