Fall 2026 Internship - Wholesale

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in the retail apparel industry by supporting the wholesale department. The role involves daily operations, account maintenance, and cross-departmental collaboration within a professional office environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist the wholesale department in driving sales through account support, including order entry and daily maintenance.
• Attend seasonal trade shows and in-house showroom appointments.
• Utilize NuOrder to create and update sales collateral.
• Analyze department store performance using weekly selling reports and order analysis.
• Prospect potential new accounts for the brand.
• Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to assemble seasonal sample sets.
• Build account relationships through in-store events and selling days.
• Lead a season-long special project focused on driving wholesale business.

What you'll need#

• Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency or experience in Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to provide and receive feedback.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Awareness of the retail industry and competition.
• Passion for the vineyard vines brand and a positive attitude.

Location & details#

• Location: Stamford, Connecticut.
• Term: Fall 2026 (up to 15 weeks).
• Modality: On-site (required to be in the office at least 2 days per week).
• Schedule: Maximum of 20 hours per week; flexible scheduling available to accommodate academic commitments.
• Requirements: This is an unpaid internship for academic credit; candidates must provide appropriate school paperwork.
