Fall 2026 Internship - Retail Operations

About the role#

This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail operations. Interns will assist with day-to-day departmental functions, support operational initiatives, and handle administrative tasks. This program is designed for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management who are interested in a career in the retail industry.

What you'll do#

• Manage facilities tickets for the retail division and coordinate vendor maintenance.
• Support the logistics of new store openings, including travel arrangements and supply coordination.
• Analyze key performance indicators and produce workforce management exception reports.
• Monitor store compliance regarding assigned operational tasks.
• Assist the team with process improvements and various ad hoc projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a college student in good academic standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening.
• An interest in the retail industry and the vineyard vines brand.

Location & details#

• Location: Stamford, Connecticut.
• Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026 (up to 15 weeks).
• Schedule: Requires presence in the office at least two days per week, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Note: This is an unpaid internship for academic credit only; applicants must provide appropriate documentation from their school.
