About the role#
This internship provides students with the opportunity to support the Men's Knits design team. You will gain hands-on experience in the retail apparel industry by assisting with daily design operations, managing sample organization, and providing administrative support within the office.
What you'll do#
- Assist the design team throughout the Men's Knits design process.
- Organize samples and maintain the trim library.
- Update and sketch CADs in Illustrator following meetings and fittings.
- Organize and maintain binders for fabrics, CADs, trims, and artwork.
- Keep the office space functional by filing paperwork, color swatches, and fabrics.
- Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a design-related program (Graphic Design, Art, or Communications preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Stamford, Connecticut.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit. You must be able to provide the necessary paperwork from your school.
- The term is for Fall 2026, lasting up to 15 weeks.
- The schedule requires on-site attendance two days per week, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
