About the role#
Victaulic is hiring a Sales Intern for our Outside Sales Team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role provides hands-on experience in construction sales by supporting customer engagement, project research, and territory initiatives. You will work alongside regional sales managers and experienced professionals, gaining exposure to contractors, engineers, and distributors. The internship runs from May 2027 to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in sales calls, jobsite visits, contractor meetings, and project reviews.
- Research construction projects, accounts, and market opportunities to identify potential customers.
- Complete a strategic summer project that provides practical value to the sales organization.
- Develop an analytics or data-quality project to improve decision-making for the team.
- Build account insights by gathering market intelligence.
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge regarding Victaulic products, solutions, and selling strategies.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to strengthen communication and business development skills.
- Present your project findings and key learnings to sales leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- You are preparing to enter your final year of study.
- You are pursuing a degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, construction management, commerce, sports management, or a related discipline.
- You have a strong interest in a career in sales, business development, or the construction industry.
- You possess strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with the ability to build professional relationships.
- You have a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
- You maintain a collaborative mindset and professional demeanor.

- This position is based in Brampton, Ontario.
- The role requires travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
