About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. This full-time, paid internship runs from May 2027 to August 2027. You will work on-site to gain experience across the employee lifecycle by supporting our HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team, and site leaders. You will contribute to programs that support our teams in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, customer care, and sales administration.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of employee wellness and benefits programs.
- Help plan and deliver employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting requisitions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, such as maintaining employee files and preparing reports.
- Support internal communications regarding HR programs and initiatives.
- Participate in ad hoc HR projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student in a post-secondary program for Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an office, customer service, or administrative environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and confidentially.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work full-time on-site at our Brampton office.
- Prior co-op, internship, or part-time experience in HR or administration is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
