About the role#
Viaflex is hiring a Sales Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time, paid position is based on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will work under the guidance of a mentor and manager to complete specific projects, support our sales team, and gain experience in the manufacturing industry. You will also learn about our quality management system and how it aligns with ISO standards.
What you'll do#
- Research competitors and document their products, buying habits, and market outlooks.
- Build and maintain a repository of customer data and project attributes in our CRM.
- Identify new prospects and analyze market segments to support our growth initiatives.
- Assist the sales team with quotes and provide ad-hoc support as needed.
- Attend company-sponsored training, seminars, and events.
- Provide project updates to your manager and peers throughout the summer.
- Deliver a final presentation at the end of your internship.
- Follow company values and assist in other areas of the business when required.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance.
- Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify waste.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
