About the role#
We are looking for a Sales Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work closely with a mentor and manager to complete assigned projects while supporting our broader sales organization. This role provides hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, including direct involvement in sales processes and customer support.
What you'll do#
- Manage sales tasks, including direct contact, phone, and online lead follow-up.
- Prepare price quotes and track them through operations and delivery.
- Assist Account Executives with daily requests and customer demand forecasting.
- Attend industry events, such as trade shows and conferences, which may require travel.
- Participate in company training, educational seminars, and internal events.
- Share regular project updates with peers and managers.
- Present a final project at the end of the summer.
- Maintain and promote our quality management system in line with ISO standards.
- Demonstrate company values in your daily work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related sales program.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and handle several projects without close supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify waste.
- Capacity to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and leadership.
