About the role#
As a Partner Success Manager for Via Student Transit, you will serve as a primary contact for school district leadership, transportation directors, and operators. This role involves managing relationships, analyzing transit data, and guiding service expansions. You will work to improve student safety and operational efficiency while navigating complex contract renewals. This position requires someone who can build internal partnerships with product, operations, and marketing teams to advocate for partner needs.
What you'll do#
- Act as the main point of contact for school districts and transit operators.
- Analyze daily and long-term transit data to provide recommendations on routing and efficiency.
- Negotiate contract renewals and service expansions with existing partners.
- Present operational updates and performance reports to school boards and superintendents.
- Develop best practices and operational workflows to support the growth of the transit vertical.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner feedback informs product and marketing decisions.
What you'll need#
- At least 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, account management, consulting, or business development.
- Experience in education technology, public sector sales, or the transit industry is preferred.
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate it into clear insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Los Angeles, California.
- The role requires travel approximately 50% of the time.
