About the role#
As a Partner Success Manager on the Via Student Transit team, you will act as the primary point of contact for school districts and local government partners. You will manage relationships with superintendents and transportation directors to ensure program performance, handle contract renewals, and drive service expansions. This is a quota-carrying role that requires a blend of strategic account management and operational problem-solving.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with school district leadership and transit operators.
- Analyze transit performance data to identify trends and provide recommendations for routing and safety improvements.
- Lead contract renewals and negotiate service expansions to grow your partner portfolio.
- Communicate operational updates and strategic goals to diverse audiences, including school boards and frontline staff.
- Develop best practices and operational workflows to support the growth of the Student Transit vertical.
- Collaborate with internal product, operations, and marketing teams to advocate for partner needs.
What you'll need#
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, customer success, account management, or consulting.
- Ability to interpret operational data and translate it into clear insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to various stakeholders.
- Experience in education, public sector sales, or transit is preferred.
- Ability to work as a self-starter in an environment with shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

- Compensation: Base salary of $65,000 to $75,000 per year plus variable pay and equity.
