About the role#
As a Partner Success Manager on the Via Student Transit team, you will manage relationships with school districts and transportation operators. This role involves balancing strategic account management with operational data analysis. You will act as a primary advisor to superintendents and directors to ensure program performance, manage contract renewals, and facilitate service expansions.
What you'll do#
- Build trust-based relationships with school district leadership, transportation directors, and operators.
- Analyze transit performance data to identify challenges and provide recommendations for routing and safety.
- Lead contract renewals and service expansions to grow year-over-year adoption and revenue.
- Advocate for partner and student needs by collaborating with internal product, operations, and marketing teams.
- Deliver presentations and updates to diverse groups, including school boards and frontline transit staff.
- Establish best practices, success metrics, and operational workflows to support national scaling.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of 2 years of client-facing experience in fields such as sales, business development, customer success, account management, consulting, or B2G/education tech.
- Comfort with operational data and the ability to translate numbers into strategic narratives.
- Ability to thrive in settings with ambiguity and take ownership of projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills.
- A willingness to travel frequently.
- Prior experience in transit, education, or public sector sales is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, Washington.
- The role requires frequent travel, estimated at 50% of the time.
