About the role#
Vertiv is looking for a UX Design Intern to join the Experience Design Group for the summer of 2027. You will work with senior designers, product managers, and developers to shape user experiences for web, mobile, and industrial applications. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship based in Westerville, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and competitive analyses to understand user needs.
- Build low- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Participate in usability testing sessions and gather feedback from users.
- Translate research insights into design improvements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align designs with business goals.
- Update UI components, style guides, and design documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field.
- A portfolio showing a user-centered design process, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Experience with design and prototyping software such as Figma.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present design ideas clearly.
