About the role#
As a Product Material Compliance Engineering Intern, you will analyze our products to ensure they meet material regulations like RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PoP’s, and PFAS. You will assist in evaluating compliance for new products and recertifying existing ones. This role involves collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to improve data quality across our systems and supplier networks. You may also support broader sustainability and ESG activities.
What you'll do#
- Apply material compliance processes during product development to keep projects on schedule.
- Manage daily data entry into the environmental compliance database.
- Improve the way we gather and manage compliance data between our internal systems and third-party providers.
- Develop subject matter expertise on current material compliance regulations.
- Refine team protocols to increase efficiency and data quality.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Bill of Material management systems such as Oracle PD, Agile, or TeamCenter.
- Strong analytical skills and a drive to determine root causes for complex problems.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Bonus points for experience with electronics hardware, product compliance databases, PLM, or Assent Manager.
