About the role#
The Product Management MBA Intern supports the Power Solutions & Distribution business at Vertiv. You will work alongside the product management team on strategic projects that influence business growth, profitability, and new product development. This role provides hands-on experience managing a global technology product portfolio for data center and critical infrastructure markets.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to identify growth opportunities and product strategy recommendations.
- Analyze product portfolio performance, revenue trends, and profitability drivers.
- Support the evaluation of emerging technologies and new market opportunities.
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for new product or feature investments.
- Assist product managers with roadmap development and portfolio planning activities.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify unmet needs and product improvement opportunities.
- Create executive level presentations for business leaders.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on portfolio expansion and market share growth.
- Support analysis regarding product positioning, pricing, and competitive differentiation.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program with expected graduation within 12-24 months.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable business recommendations.
- Undergraduate degree in business, electrical engineering, computer science, or marketing is preferred.
