About the role#
We are looking for a Design Engineering Intern to join our Core Engineering team. This position provides hands-on experience in hardware and firmware development. You will work on design engineering, test engineering, and the application of generative AI tools.
What you'll do#
- Write firmware and software for an embedded Yoto Linux environment.
- Build new features and software using GenAI tools.
- Use Agile development methods for product design and testing.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying discrepancies and working with the team to resolve them.
- Keep up with trends in data analytics to improve your skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with C, C++, or Python.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- A detail-oriented approach to your work.
