About the role#
We are looking for a Fabrication Engineer Intern to join our team in Carey, Ohio. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with experienced engineers, fabricators, and project managers. You will see projects move from the design stage through to fabrication and final installation. This role requires a mix of time in the office and time in the field or fabrication shop.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development and improvement of fabrication methods.
- Help with material selection, quality control, and production planning.
- Coordinate projects alongside engineers, fabricators, and field personnel.
- Solve engineering and fabrication challenges as they arise.
- Gain experience in the design, fabrication, and construction process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program for Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil, Construction, or Engineering Technology.
- Strong analytical skills and a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with CAD or 3D modeling software is helpful but not required.
