About the role#
We are looking for an intern to support our underwriting and operations team in Pittsburgh. This role offers direct exposure to the insurance industry, including policy processing and daily business operations.
What you'll do#
- Work with production teams on real-time business activities.
- Assist with preparing submissions, reviewing documents, and supporting the underwriting process.
- Handle daily tasks like data entry, file management, and system updates.
- Review policies, claims, and risk information to support team workflows.
- Collaborate on projects and gain exposure to agency communications.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to build your industry knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A genuine interest in the insurance or financial services sector.
