About the role#
As a Product Management Intern, you will work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and support delivery. You will assist in defining requirements and conducting research to help build solutions that support our mission.
What you'll do#
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Research market, customer, and competitor trends to identify opportunities.
- Partner with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and prioritize features.
- Conduct product discovery through customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Review designs and suggest improvements to user flows and wireframes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Product Management, or a business field with a technical focus.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and development concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Austin, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Work requires sitting and using a computer for long periods, with the ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
