About the role#
This position provides technical support for the campus community. You will serve as a first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, helping with equipment and connectivity needs across the university.
What you'll do#
- Provide front line tech provisioning, equipment delivery, and set-up.
- Offer in-person technical assistance to campus users.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for Student Computer Lab systems and printers.
- Troubleshoot personal computers, tablets, and phones.
- Act as a resource for internet access in dorms and university apartments.
- Manage a checkout program for laptops, tablets, and multimedia devices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a college student.
- Eligibility for a work study award through Student Financial Aid.
- Experience in customer service.
- Working knowledge of consumer technology.
- A valid driver's license that meets university motor vehicle record requirements.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative.
- Flexibility to work where needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
